HEX ezSWITCH: The New Smart Button for Your HEX ezCAN

HEX has just launched the HEX ezSWITCH, the latest accessory for controlling your motorcycle. It’s a compact and smart button with an integrated LED indicator, designed to bring more comfort and functionality to your ride, especially when road lighting (or lack thereof) demands a quick response.

One Button, Multiple Functions

The HEX ezSWITCH connects directly to the HEX ezBUS and lets you control several ezCAN functions, such as auxiliary lights, fog lights, Lone Rider headlights, or an auxiliary horn. This button is compatible with any motorcycle that supports the GEN-II HEX ezCAN, Denali CANsmart, or Lone Rider MotoCAN Accessory Manager, making it the ideal solution for those seeking more control and comfort.

If your bike already has built-in buttons (or the famous "wonder wheel"), the ezSWITCH complements those features with a configurable and illuminated button. You can switch lights on or off, adjust brightness, or even assign other functions. All within thumb’s reach and visible at night thanks to the built-in LED.

Take Your CAN-bus System Further

For models like the KTM, Yamaha Ténéré, and others with more limited CAN-bus systems, the ezSWITCH is truly the final touch your cockpit was missing. It gives you quick access to control auxiliary lights and brightness, something previously impossible without modifications.

Plug-and-Play Installation

The HEX ezSWITCH connects directly to the white ezBUS circuit of the Accessory Manager, where up to 14 low-power ezBUS-ready accessories can be connected. Thanks to a dedicated expansion circuit and new ezBUS technology, the ezSWITCH allows the connection of one additional accessory to the HEX ezCAN (up to 2 amps), offering unmatched versatility.

The HEX ezSWITCH LED buttons are available in four colors: blue, green, red, or yellow. This allows you to match the switch to your bike’s style or, if using more than one ezSWITCH, assign a color to each function so you can easily identify accessories by their LED color.

HEX ezCAN and ezBUS

The HEX ezCAN is an intelligent module that connects to your motorcycle’s CAN-bus system, allowing you to add and control accessories like auxiliary lights, horns, extra brake lights, and much more. Meanwhile, the ezBUS is HEX’s new communication system between devices, created to make connections even simpler. Each component connected to the ezBUS is automatically detected by the Accessory Manager app, making configuration fast and intuitive.
